There are several projects running at the Centre that can offer support. Contact us to find out more.
Information & Support Service, North Wales
Our Caseworkers offer one-to-one advice and support on the many issues that a woman can face. These include accommodation; children, families and relationships; domestic abuse; drugs and alcohol; finance, benefits and debt; health, skills and training. Our bilingual Caseworker works on an outreach basis, covering mid and south Denbighshire, east Conwy and west Flintshire.
A drop-in Information & Support session is held each Wednesday, 9am and 2:00 pm.
Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), Denbighshire
The IDVA provides practical and emotional support to beneficiaries who are at the highest levels of risk. The IDVA helps to keep clients safe whilst liaising with the numerous agencies involved in pressing charges against perpetrators. The IDVA advocates for the client – acting as their ‘eyes and ears’ and will also accompany clients to court or arrange pre-trial visits.
Together Women Project, North Wales
The Together Women Project provides a one-to-one Mentoring & Advocacy Service to women with an offending background who are high risk, vulnerable and have a diagnosis of or are showing signs of personality disorder.
